오늘은 주말내내 했는데요..
tripwire 툴 같은경우에 솔라리스 같은경우에는 상용화로
바뀌었서
사용할수없던데요..


redhat 9.0  에서. 
tripwire-2.3-47을 사용해서

rpm 설치하구 나서요 
아래와 같이

[root@test tripwire]#
./twinstall.sh 까지 했는데요. 
그리고 twpol.txt 파일안데 디렉토리경로를
 확인수정했습니다.


아래와 같이 초기 DB생성하기를 하면 아래와 같이
[root@www sbin]# ./tripwire --init <- 여기 실행시.. 
Please enter your local passphrase: 
Parsing policy file: /etc/tripwire/tw.pol 
Generating the database... 

*** Processing Unix File System *** 
Software interrupt forced exit: Segmentation Fault 

이렇게 에러 메시지가 나왔습니다... 
왜 이러는지....모르겠습니다.

이곳저곳찾아보니
 저와같이 에러 메시지로인해 질문이 많있던데
답변은 하나도 없더라고요..

아마도 제 생각인데.
twpol.txt  파일안데  필요치않는 경로등을 주석처리하는
부분에서 생긴문제같은데요..

에러가 발생한 구문을보고(디렉토리경로가존재하지않는부분을
 전부주석처리했습니다)

그리고 나서 위와 같이 
./tripwire --init  로 초기 db를 생성할려고 하니 ..안되네요..
